Feel The Valentines Vibe

My new album, ‘Look To The Edge’

I chose the album title because the phrase means to never compromise and to keep pushing yourself to be the best you can be. Making this album, I was constantly outside of my comfort zone and although that’s often times scary, I now feel that I have really grown as a musician and songwriter through this experience. My first single, ‘Warrior’ expresses my shift in energy and attitude perfectly. 2010 is a huge year for South Africans – it’s time to stand into our power and speak from a place of strength and pride. ‘Warrior’ is my way of communicating that message.

Upcoming adventures:

We have just finished the album and I will now be making the music video for ‘Warrior’, which will be released in February.
I then go into rehearsing the band for the upcoming tour/launch of the album and will be promoting ‘Look To The Edge’ countrywide.

From then on my aim is to take the album as well as the live show overseas and represent my country to the best of my ability, after all, that is what ‘Look to The Edge’ is all about.

December Summer Tour ‘08

Louise Carver in association with 1st for Women is proud to present her December Summer Tour ‘08

These two strong feminine forces have teamed up to celebrate the holiday season, visiting some of our most beautiful SA coastal towns.
Louise will be performing all her best-loved music, as well as a few songs off her recent sold out “Home Tour”, which pays homage to other much loved SA songwriters.

Louise will donate 10% of all her merchandise profit during the tour, to the Leigh Matthews Trust, which provides stress and trauma treatment for victims of crime – free of charge.
1st For Women Insurance Trust have already donated R500 000 towards the establishment of two new Leigh Matthews Stress and Trauma Centers, bringing the total number of centers to three.

Quote from Louise Carver

‘’Joining forces with 1st For Women was such a natural synergy for me. We both believe strongly in being proudly South African as well as protecting those we love and our fellow countryman. Being able to contribute to the Leigh Matthews Trust makes me prouder still to have come from a country that takes action after such a heinous crime has been committed. It is not in our blood to be complacent.‘’
